About

Stacey Winter-Davis aka Mrs. W-D

I teach 10th through 12th grade Social Studies at Steelton-Highspire High School in Pennsylvania. My classroom focuses on 21st-century skills as we explore the subjects of Human Geography and Intro Economics. Additionally, I utilize my Ed-Tech Certification and Google Educator training to teach a Google Certification course for high school students.

In addition to teaching at Steelton-Highspire, I had the opportunity to substitute teach for a variety of school districts from urban to rural. Past long-term positions include US History & World Cultures at Hempfield High School, Digital Literacy at Red Lion Area Junior High, and Lebanon County's IU12 Migrant Education Summer Program.

I grew up in York County, PA, and graduated from Dallastown Area High School.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shepherd University, WV (Go Rams!) in 1999.  I returned to school in 2007 for my PA Teaching Certification in Social Studies from Millersville University.  In December 2020 (mid-pandemic,)  I completed my Master's Degree in Education with a focus in Educational Technology at York College of Pennsylvania.  The journey of my Graduate Project can be found in the Blog section.
